Training is offered by Captain Kelly: the only Certified Boat Trainer on Buckeye Lake. Captain Kelly can perform safety inspections on your boat, help you with navigating Buckeye Lake, provide assistance with docking and/or launching and loading your boat.

Captain Kelly
Captain Kelly is a former US Coast Guard Boating Safety Officer. He knows and understands boating safety requirements and proper navigational procedures. During his Coast Guard tenure; he inspected recreational boats for safety equipment, along with maritime law enforcement on international waters. During winter months he taught recreational boating enforcement workshops at Coast Guard bases and marine law enforcement offices throughout the Great Lakes.
